Alginates assay distillation system similar to the one described in US Pharmacopeia 2006, chapter 311. The system includes a metering valve with flow meter tube set, 250mL flask and mantle, reflux condenser with u-tube and hose connection adapters

Compact and simple distilling adapter for use with Chemglass process reactors. Vapor flows upward freely and distillate is collected in to the small bowl below the joint and through the stopcock into a distilling receiver.

Comes with Synthware Distilling Adapter (Joints: 14/20 or 19/22) and Cow Receivers (Joints: 14/20 or 19/22). Designed without hose connection to be used with D10 distillation apparatus.
