14.75 x 26 mm 0.50 dram (1.85 ml) Amber borosilicate compound vial with 13-425 neck finish, vial only. These amber glass compound vials have a low profile for greater stability and wide mouth for ease of sampling. the lab-pak carton includes a shrink wrapped tray of 144 vials and a bag of 144 green thermoset F217 PTFE lined caps (not assembled).the optional thermoset (phenolic) plastic caps have a wide range of chemical compatibility and temperature tolerances. The F217 liners have a low density foam core between two solid layers of ldpe; these foam backed PTFE liners resist attack from virtually all chemicals at room temperature and provides resilience for a tight seal with a low moisture transmission rate. These amber glass vials provide excellent protection from uv rays, making them ideal for excellent for small quantities of light-sensitive compounds or powders.
