Polycarbonate (PC) The membrane has excellent cell adhesion and therefore is suitable for transport studies and other applications that need to achieve optimal cell growth.  Besides, PC membrane is also very for barrier analysis. Compare to other membrane materials, PC membrane has higher, more persistent and more stable trans-epthelial electrical resistance (TEER) values. PC membrane can be used to culture most types of cells without matrix coating. PET membrane With better optical clarity, it facilitates cell observation under a microscope and cell imaging.
