Cell Line Description
The antibody is directed against a thymic differentiation antigen in cattle. The antigen is expressed on 50-60% of bovine thymocytes, but not on peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The antigen recognised is the bovine equivalent of CD1.

Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 1% Hypoxanthine, Thymidine (HT) supplement + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. These cells require mouse macrophage feeder layers upon resuscitation
