ANTI-CDK4 ANTIBODY CLONE DCS-35

General description

The prototype of the cdk family, p34cdc2, and a related protein cdk2, function late in the cycle while cdk4 and cdk6 are critically involved in G1 to S progression.

Specificity

Recognizes a 34 kDa protein identified as p34 or cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (cdk4). It shows no cross-reaction with other cdks.

Immunogen

Raised against purified recombinant cdk4 protein.

Application

Detect Cdk4 with Anti-Cdk4 Antibody, clone DCS-35 (Mouse Monoclonal Antibody), that has been shown to work in IF, IP, EA, WB & IHC.

Immunofluorescence

Immunoprecipitation: excellent for coprecipitation of D-type cyclins bound to cdk4.

Western Blotting: 2-4 ug/mL

Kinase Assay
