Application

This mouse monoclonal Anti-Chikungunya (CHIKV-Env 1 & 2), Cat. No. MABX49, is tested for use in ELISA and Lateral Flow Assay, for the detection of Recombinant Chikungunya Virus Envelope Protein (CHIKV E1 and E2).

Target description

Chikungunya virus is an arthropod-borne virus (arbovirus) spread by the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes.  It is a member of the Alphavirus genus of RNA viruses.  Symptoms of fever and joint pain usually appear within a week of infection.  Muscle pain, headache, fatigue and rash may also occur.
