Immunogen
Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human EXT2
Biochem/physiol Actions
EXT2 is one of two glycosyltransferases involved in the chain elongation step of heparan sulfate biosynthesis. This gene encodes one of two glycosyltransferases involved in the chain elongation step of heparan sulfate biosynthesis. Mutations in this gene cause the type II form of multiple exostoses. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.
Sequence
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: NELLMAISDSDYYTDDINRACLFVPSIDVLNQNTLRIKETAQAMAQLSRW
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
