General description
Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease caused by parasitic microorganisms in the Plasmodium group. Plasmodium vivax (Pv) still causes serious disease but not as acute as Plasmodium falciparum (Pf). Pv LDH is the Pv-specific plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase, an intracellular metabolic enzyme.
