Recombinant protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type, C isoform 1
Application
Anti-PTPRC antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type, C is an enzyme encoded by the PTPRC gene in humans. It is also known as CD45 antigen (CD stands for cluster of differentiation) and is originally called leukocyte common antigen (LCA). PTPRC acts as a binding receptor for galectin-3 and helps in inducing apoptosis of Jurkat cells. It plays a novel role on innate immune cells in promoting lymphopenia-induced T cell proliferation. The leukocyte-specific tyrosine phosphatase impacts T cell development and activation by modulating TCR signaling.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide.
