General description
Anti-TP53INP2 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total TP53INP2 protein.
TP53INP2/DOR (tumor protein p53 inducible nuclear protein 2) is located in the nucleolus. It is ubiquitously present in the tissues, with a high metabolism level. TP53INP2 is located on human chromosome 20q11.22.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human TP53INP2.
Immunogen Range: 1-50
Biochem/physiol Actions
TP53INP2/DOR (tumor protein p53 inducible nuclear protein 2) acts as a promoter of autophagy and is involved in cell catabolism. It is essential for rDNA transcription. TP53INP2 is required for protein synthesis and cell proliferation. It also acts as a coactivator of the thyroid hormone receptor and regulates the activities of thyroid hormone.
