Biodegradable Non-toxic, Non-flammable & Odorless High Tritium Efficiency Excellent With Dry Filters & Test Wipes BetaMax is excellent for samples completely dried that have been recovered on filters of all types. Some membrane filters can be dissolved in 1-2mL of methyl cellosolve which can be mixed with 10-15mL of BetaMax ES for optimum recovery. Free lipids and steroids can be extracted from an aqueous sample by simply adding the aqueous sample to the BetaMax ES and allowing the organic soluble components to migrate across the partition. This usually occurs in approximately 30 minutes at room temperature.
