YMC Carotenoid is a silica-based reversed-phase column chemically bonded with a triacontyl (C30) group, and is useful for separating geometric isomers of carotenoids. It is useful as a column with different separation selectivity when it is difficult to separate compounds other than carotenoids with C18 (ODS).
