Cerium(IV) sulfate (C09-0797-918)

It is an oxidizing agent used in analytical chemistry for redox titration. It is known that if combined with hydrochloric acid, Cerium(IV) sulfate produces elemental chlorine. Studies indicate that Cerium(IV) sulfate can be used to determine the iodine number in oils.
