Grinding has been eliminated from their manufacturing, to reduce the chance for particulates entering the vial. Premium style packaging minimizes particulate contamination of the vials. These exceptionally sturdy vials have a conical interior bottom that allows for maximum retrieval of content by syringe or micropipette. V Vials can be used for small-scale reactions, centrifugation, storage and shipping. Clear V Vials are manufactured from 33 low extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to ASTM Type I, Class A and USP Type I requirements to safeguard against a change in product pH caused by alkali, which can be extracted by ordinary glass. Amber V Vials are manufactured from 320 low extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to ASTM Type I, Class B and USP Type I requirements. V-Vials are used for small-scale reactions with Wheaton Micro Kit (Thomas No. 0914R41). They are also used in the biochemical, pharmaceutical and radiochemical industries.
