Cell Line Description
Normal B lymphoid cell line derived from the peripheral blood of a 74 year old Chinese female (the same patient as COLO 720E) with ovarian cancer. These B-lymphoid cells grow as characteristic clumps of cells in the media. Often the peripheral cells of the clumps have their spike-like uropods extending into the media.

Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 2-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
