•  3mm, 13mm, 25mm, 50mm •  0.10µm to 1.20µm •  Minimal sample hold-up •  High purity, non-pigmented housing and no adhesives used Advantec MFS offers a broad selection of filter media in convenient sterile disposable syringe filters and 50mm in-line filter units. The Acrylic(AC) and Polypropylene(PP) housing materials are high purity and pigment-free. Adhesives are not used so you can be assured filtrates will not be adulterated. Each unit is marked with identifying codes denoting pore size, membrane, and housing polymer. Units are sterilized by EtO gas, except PES and Nylon are Gamma Irradiated. Dismic models have female luer-lock inlet and male luer slip outlet. These units are individually blister packed. Labodisc-50 models are in-line units with 7-13.5 mm hose barb inlet and outlet connections and an inlet vent. These units are supplied individually bagged. Cellulose Acetate (CA) - Very Low protein binding suitable for protein and enzyme solutions. Low aqueous extractables(0.1wt%). Nitrate-free for ground-water samples. Clarify and filter sterilize biological fluids, including buffers and tissue culture solutions. Mixed Cellulose Esters (MCE) - General purpose filtration of aqueous solutions, including clarifying and filter sterilizing biological fluids, buffers, and pharma applications. Offers protein binding. Provides high flow rates. Nylon (NY) - Low extractables, no wetting agents. Nylon offers broad chemical compatibility making it a good choice for HPLC sample prep. Clarify and sterilize aqueous and organic solvent solutions, including buffers and tissue culture solutions. Polyethersulfone (PES) - Low protein binding, low extractables, and high throughput. Maximize recovery of proteins and critical drugs. Ideal for pharmaceutical and biological applications where sample recovery and low extractables are essential. Clarify and filter sterilize biological fluids, tissue culture media, proteinaceous and enzyme solutions. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) - PTFE is inherently hydrophobic making this media ideal for air filtration and venting applications. Traps aqueous aerosols. Filter organic HPLC samples.
