Nicarbazin, an anti-coccidial drug, is an equimolar mixture of 4,4&#8242-dinitrocarbanilide (DNC) and 2-hydroxy-4,6-dimethylpyrimidine (HDP). It is used for prophylactic treatment of coccidiosis in poultry birds.

Nilotinib is an aminopyrimidine-derivative that can be used as a selective inhibitor of tyrosine kinase receptors. It also has a role as an antineoplastic agent and an anticoronaviral agent.
