Product Characteristics Enhanced Streptavidin-HRP is a HRP-conjugate specific for biotinylated antibodies and is characterized by an enhanced molar ratio of >5 HRP enzymes covalently coupled per streptavidin molecule. Enhanced Streptavidin-HRP conjugate enables at least a 4-fold increase in sensitivity in ELISA compared to conventional conjugate and offers pg/fg sensitivity levels in immunoassays, when only minimal amounts of specific antibodies or antigens are available: • Signal amplification • Ultrasensitive detection • Faster assay time • Recommended when only minimal amounts of specific antibody or antigen are available • Can be used with any biotin labeled probe Composition & Properties Specificity : Biotinylated probes Content : 1 mg HRP/mL stabilized in TRIS buffer Activity : 90 - 110% Recommended Dilution : 1:1.000 to 1:10.000 Tips & Tricks • Enhanced Streptavidin-HRP can successfully be diluted and stored in Antibody Enhancer (cat. no. A494276). (Not to be used for dilution of Ab’s directed against rabbit immunoglobulins). • Avoid batch-to-batch variations and day-to-day variation by preparing a stock solution in your own dilution. • Fine-tuning of the polymer backbone is necessary for Immunoblotting, IHC & DNA probe detection. Handling & Storage • Store solution at 2-8 ℃.
