The Luer-Lock fittings provided with each column, and a wide variety of optional adapters, valves and fittings make simple and versatile tubing connections possible. Standard Flex-Columns are available with inner diameters of 0.7, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.5 cm and lengths ranging from 4 to 170 cm. Short columns are most frequently used for ion exchange chromatography, sample desalting and semidisposable applications. Long columns are ideally suited for gel filtration and adsorption chromatography.
