Cell Line Description
Derived from a 6 year old Caucasian female with Gardner′s syndrome, an autosomal dominant condition which predisposes to carcinoma and multiple polyps of the colon. Normal female karyotype.

Culture Medium
EMEM (HBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 20% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Split semi-confluent cultures 1:2 i.e. seeding at 4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin; 5% CO2; 37°C. Monolayer should form in a 25cm2 in 3-4 days.
