Cell Line Origin
Human Caucasian foetal lung fibroblast
Cell Line Description
Derived from lung tissue of a 16 week old female Caucasian foetus. The cells have a virus susceptibility similar to WI-38 (Sigma catalogue no. 90020107) and MRC-5 cells (Sigma catalogue no. 84101801). The cells have a finite lifespan. Available as a growing order only.
Application
IMR-90 human cell line has been used to study the cytotoxicity of hydroxyapatite/gold/arginine (HAp/Au/arginine) nanoparticles.
