Carvedilol phosphate also inhibits release of pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-a and IL-6 and production of eicosanoids PGE2 and LTB4, alleviating oxidative stress and indicating antioxidative and anti-inflammatory activities. Additionally, this compound may exhibit anti-atherosclerotic and anti-diabetic activity through its inhibition of acid sphingomyelinase (FIASMA). Grade: ≥98%
