Cell Line Origin
Rat sarcoma, asparagine requiring
Cell Line Description
Used in studies relating to amino acid requirements and L-asparagine metabolism. Cloning studies show that variants not requiring L-asp are present in 100 per 1,000,000 cells Cloned populations which do not produce variants immediately do so after 6-8 further passages.
Application
Metabolic and cloning studies
Culture Medium
