L-p-Bromotetramisole oxalate (C09-0934-501)

L-p-Bromotetramisole oxalate is an inhibitor of non-specific alkaline phosphatase, comparable in activity to the vanadium compound Orthovanadate . L-p-Bromotetramisole oxalate shows no inhibition of specific phosphatase activity, and the D- enantiomer shows no inhibitory effects against either phosphatase. The activity of tyrosine phosphatases is also reported to be inhibited by L-p-Bromotetramisole oxalate and related compounds.
