Mouse DBA/2 lymphoma
Cell Line Description
Derived from a thymic tumour induced in a DBA/2 mouse by methylcholanthrene. The cells were adapted for in vitro growth. The cells have been widely used in toxicity and radiation studies.
Application
Toxicity screening and radiation studies
Culture Medium
Fischer′s + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Sodium Pyruvate (NaP) + 10% Horse Serum (HS) or RPMI 1640 + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3x10,000 to 5x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
