A Fresnel lens is a compact type of lens which was first used in lighthouses. The construction of these lenses allows for a large aperture and a short focal length without the mass that would normally be required.

This magnifier offers an extra large field of view, hands free use, and folds down to a compact size for storage. Its 10cm lens provides 6x magnification. Ideal for use on a lab table, and for dissecting small specimens like owl pellets.
