Glass Joints

For No. 7753 Storage Tubes.

Standard taper inner member ground joint for use with outer members listed under Catalog number 7565, 7566, 7567, 7651 and 7652. Can also be used with half joints listed under 7568 and 7585.

Standard taper ioint with lower tube reduced in diameter to size listed. Length of extended tube 101mm.

Standard taper joint with reduced tube at both ends. Length of tube below joint is 100mm.

Standard taper inner member ground joint with groove for O-Ring. For use with outer members 7565, 7566, 7567, 7651, and 7652.

Tubing is same diameter as reinforcing rings on the standard taper joint. The rings permit penetration by the clamp cushioning material, and permit firm support without the need for excessive pressure on the joint also, strain on the joint is

O.D. of standard taper joint and tube are approximately same size, allowing for ease in clamping.

Designed for use with inner member regular joints with only a slight mismatch. Treated on inner surface so that it may be cemented to glass with ACE 7560 epoxy adhesive.

With 75 degree angle standard taper joints.

Used for drying air-sensitive compounds with inert gas or a simple pressure filter funnel. O-Ring joint connects cap to body to give a larger opening.
