The carbon fiber reinforced probes are designed to be mounted to a Z-drive with two probe clamps and without a guide plate. The carbon fiber probes can also be used with the prior version Z-drives, but the guide plate must be used.

The stainless steel sample probe features a screen tip and is used in oils applications. The probe includes the capillary tube fitting, although doesn't include capillary tubing.
