Application

Lithium nitrate is used:

As an electrolyte and redox mediator in the Li-O₂ battery.
In the preparation of LiNO₃/natural phosphate (NP) catalyst. This LiNO₃/NP catalyst can be employed in the synthesis of chalcones.
As a regenerable SEI (solidâ€“electrolyte interphase) stabilizing agent in the rechargeable Li/O₂ batteries.
