Application

LUDOX^® TM-50 colloidal silica can be used:

As a silica source to synthesize tetrapropylammonium(TPA)-silicate-1 colloidal particles.
As a removable template to prepare mesoporous carbon materials by using a resorcinol-formaldehyde resin as a carbon precursor.
As a separation layer to synthesize non-spherical flexible poly(butylacrylate) (PBA) polymer particles by concentrated emulsion polymerization.
