A stain designed to show mucin derived from epithelial cells (bronchi and colon).

CONTENTS: Carmine, Aluminum Chloride

This solution is made from certified dyes.

FOR IN VITRO DIAGNOSTIC USE ONLY.

RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE: Stain may be used straight or diluted at 1:4 - 1:10 with distilled water or 50% to 70% alcohol. The alcoholic solution is preferable. Stain sections for 15 minutes or longer. Wash quickly in distilled water. Dehydrate, clear and mount.

RESULTS: Mucin stains red.
