A Merlin Microseal septum provides several distinct advantages: elimination of septum coring, long lifetime, and consistently low needle-insertion force. The Microseal septum incorporates two separate sealing mechanisms; these sliding seals prevent septum coring and the associated accumulation of septum crumbs in the injection port liner. Installation is simple, requiring no modification of the injection port. Compatible with Shimadzu models GC-2010 and GC-2025 only. 450°C maximum injection port temperature. For use with 23-gauge (0.63 mm, 0.025") needle or probe with blunt, truncated conical tip.
