General description

The purification kit contains IPAK Meta® and IPAK Quanta® cartridges, which are designed to work as a pair to produce highest-quality ultrapure water.
IPAK Meta® cartridge combines Jetpore® mixed-bed ion-exchange resin and innovative IQnano® ion-exchange media to remove trace ions from purified water.
IPAK Quanta® cartridge contains activated carbon and IQnano® ion-exchange media to target traces of organic contaminants once they have been oxidized by the system’s photooxidation lamp. The small bead size of IQnano® media significantly improves kinetic properties while dramatically reducing media volume. This allows for purification cartridges that are 33% smaller than former cartridges.
For use in Milli-Q® IQ 7000 and Milli-Q® EQ 7000/08/16 water purification systems.

Features and Benefits

  • A full report is available for IPAK Meta® and IPAK Quanta® cartridges. It provides details on the technologies used, their performance during testing by our R&D department, as well as information concerning our quality and manufacturing requirements.
  • e-Sure tag for RFID connection enables full traceability (data management) and automatic consumable status monitoring on the Q-POD® touchscreen interface.
  • The polishing cartridges should be replaced together at the same time.
  • For optimal results, the cartridges should be replaced at least once a year or when the system indicates it.
  • 78% of the parts suppliers for IPAK Quanta® and IPAK Meta® cartridges included in this kit are ISO 14001 environmental management system-certified.
