Molecular Biology Water is prepared by reverse osmosis, passed through fine carbon, deionized through two resin beds, and serially filtered through 0.1 µm positively charged membranes, to yield a product with an endotoxin level of less than 0.03 EU/mL. Molecular Biology Water is negative for RNase (sensitivity to femtomoles) and is negative for non-specific Endonuclease, Exonuclease and Protease activity. Molecular Biology Water is useful in: reconstituting nucleic acids and/or proteins, RNA applications (i.e. Preparation of an RNA probe), DNA applications (i.e. Subcloning in pUC plasmids), and protein applications (i.e. Western Blotting).
