Cell Line Description
The antibody is directed against an antigen on splenic tissue macrophages, most thymocytes and T lymphocytes. The antibody competes with OX-34.
Immunogen
Purified rat CD2 followed by washed PVG-RT1c rat thymocytes
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO2; 37°C.
