This is absorbed with NaOH. This will cause a vacuum pressure, which can be determined as a measured value in mg/l BOD. The sample volume used regulates how much oxygen is available in order for full BOD to run. With different volumes, measuring ranges up to 4,000 mg/l BOD can be measured. The OxiTop® heads (green and yellow to differentiate between infeed and output) have an AutoTemp function: If the sample temperature is still too cold, the start of the measurement is delayed automatically until a constant temperature is reached, but at least for 1 hour. In addition to the automatic saving of 5 measured values (1 value per day), you can also manually read other measured values after these 5 days have elapsed, so that control values or measurements can be tracked over time (long-term).
