The adhesive foil can be manually pierced using a pipette tip or liquid handling robots and can be easily removed by peeling. In addition, plates can be resealed by applying an additional film directly on top of a previously pierced seal. A green dotted line on the sheet foils clearly indicates the non-sealing surface, for ease of seal orientation and handling.
