Films cast from propylene carbonate will require heat to dry. Photocurable inks can be formulated by adding acrylate monomers and photoinitiators (i.e. DMPA). Propylene carbonate will remain in the polymer. Functional compounds can be coupled to the oligomer via reactions at the methacrylate group.PEDOT-Meth can be used as a plasticizing membrane in the fabrication of ion-selective sensors and light emitting diodes.Product can be blended with additional acrylate or methacrylate monomers and crosslinked to make polymer blends. Custom molecules can be synthesized by bonding functional compounds, via the methacrylate groups, to the conducting EDOT oligomers.
