PQT-12 canbe employed as the semiconductor material in organic field-effect transistors(OFETs). Its high charge carrier mobility, good film-forming properties, andstability make it useful for the channel layer, enabling efficient electronicdevice performance. The conjugated polymer structure and charge storagecapability of PQT-12 make it potentially useful for energy storage applicationssuch as super capacitors and batteries.
PQT-12 exhibits strong absorption in the visibleand near-infrared regions of the spectrum.
