Q-BioTaq™ DNA Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase which can be used effectively for PCR and DNA sequencing by the chain termination method. This enzyme is encoded by a modified form of the Thermus aquaticus DNA polymerase gene with an N-terminal deletion. The properties of QBioTaq™ DNA Polymerase include high thermostability(98°C) and absence of 5’-3’ exonuclease activity. this polymerase is particularly usefol in applications where multiple maplifications are required. The enzyme is highly purified and is free of endo- and exonucleases. One unit is the amount of enzyme required to catalyse the incorporation of 10 nmol of nucleotides into acid insoluble material in 30 min. at 74°C under assay conditions.
