Clonality: Polyclonal Relevance: This antibody may be used to detect the LukF subunit of PVL produced by PVL producing strains of Staphylococcus aureus. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: Assay-dependent dilution. Internal QC demonstrates good detection of purified rLukF when the antibody is used at 10 µg/mL. WB: This antibody can be utilized for detection at a concentration of 0.5 - 3 µg/mL. Storage: 2-3 weeks +4°C, -20°C long term Cross Reactivity: This antibody demonstrates slight cross-reactivity to the His-tagged LukS subunit of Staphylococcal PVL (Cat#0530-001). The immunogen contained a His-tag therefore proteins containing Hisepitope tag may also cross-react. This antibody is an IgG fraction of serum and therefore may have antibody to other antigens including Staphylococcal antigens as a result of natural exposure and immune response.
