Human Caucasian Burkitt′s lymphoma
Cell Line Description
Derived from a three-year-old male Caucasian with histologic diagnosis of Burkitt′s lymphoma. It is EBV positive and shows B-lymphocyte characteristics with surface associated mu and kappa chains.
Application
Tumourigenicity and virus studies: EBV
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
