Self-closing or manual covers Small steel safety funnels feature a narrow (4 1/2”) opening for safe disposal of solvents, thinners and other hazardous flammable waste. These 4 1/2” high funnels are specially designed to reduce the chance of fire when dealing with hazardous waste. Mini safety funnels have 1 flame arresters and are for use only with 5 gallon pails. Self-close model has a fusible link that melts at 165°F. The cover then automatically shuts in case of a fire to extinguish the flames. All funnels comply with EPA and OSHA regulations and are FM approved.
