The sharp, hard edges of these irregular particles impart a knife-like cutting action during high-energy shaking in Mini-Beadbeater vials. They may abrade and micro-chop tough tissue faster than beads. For softer tissues beads are preferred. * Wash with lab detergent before first use. NOTE: Silicon-Carbide Sharp Particles should not be used with the BeadBeater 1107900.
