Application

Silver nitrate can be used:

As a lithium storage material for lithium-ion batteries due to its lithiation/delithiation behavior.
To fabricate Ag decorated rGO electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction in zinc air batteries.
As an electron sacrificial reagent for overall water splitting reaction.
As a precursor to tune the shape of gold nanoparticles.
To prepare silver vanadium oxide cathode material for batteries.
