Slide-Fix™ Slide Jars are used in a variety of applications including preservation and transport of Pap smear slides, post-surgical tissues and fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies. Prefilled jars contain about 25 mL of 95% ethyl alcohol for the preservation of microscope slides and other specimens. Slide jars have a volume of 30 mL and accommodate and protect up to 4 slides. Slide jars are made of a Polypropylene Co-Polymer that is nearly transparent with the strength of Polypropylene.
