Solution II - Propylene Glycol (85%)
Solution III - Nuclear Fast Red Stain (Kernechtrot)

A staining solution used to stain fat in frozen sections.

CONTENTS: Sudan Black B, Propylene Glycol, Nuclear Fast Red, Aluminum Sulfate

These solutions are made from certified dyes (when applicable).

OR IN VITRO DIAGNOSTIC USE ONLY.

RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE: Dehydrate sections for 5 - 10 minutes in absolute propylene glycol. Stain for 10 - 20 minutes in Sol. I. Differentiate for 2-3 minutes in Sol. III. Wash in distilled water and counterstain with Sol. III for a few minutes. Wash well and mount.

RESULTS: Fat - blue-black; nuclei - red.
