Application

tert-Butylamine (TBA) can be used in the following applications:

It is an effective solvent for the removal of surfactants such as PVP and capping agents such as KBr from the nanoparticle surface.
Mixed complexes of platinum, amino acid and TBA show potent anti-tumor activities.
It is an effective base for the aziridination of 2-arylethenyl(diphenyl)sulfonium salt to form the corresponding N-tert-butylaziridine.
