Consist of Adapt-A-Port body and interchangeable thermometer and vacuum adapters Adapters can be interchanged without removing body from vessel. Will not freeze; withstand temperatures to 210°C; easily cleaned. Adapt-A-Port body is Teflon with Standard Taper joint and threaded top on which polypropylene nut is mounted. Central bore in body permits passage of thermometer, gases, etc. Viton® O-ring at top of joint seals against vessel. Inner top of body threaded to take thermometer adapter or vacuum adapter. Thermometer adapter has threaded cap with port to take thermometer, glass tubing or similar objects, up to 6 mm o.d. Viton® O-rings seal against thermometer and against mouth of body. Vacuum adapter has serrated Teflon tubing connector, 1/16 o.d. Connector screws into side of adapter and seals against Viton® O-ring. Second Viton® O-ring seals adapter against mouth of body.
