The purity of the peptide was greater than 95% as determined by HPLC and mass spectral analysis. Approximately 10 mg of purified peptide were coupled (through a terminal cysteine thiol) to KLH with a heterobifunctional cross-linking agent MBS at a ratio of 1 part peptide to 1 part KLH. The peptide was used to immunize rabbits for antibody production. The resulting antibody reacts strongly and specifically with the 170 kDa Human Topo II protein. This peptide is used as a control reagent in immunofluorescence; it effectively neutralizes the antibody to topo II.Shipping&storageThe peptide is shipped at ambient temperature and should be stored at -20°C.
